Larissa Krause

Larissa Krause is a cultural activist and project manager in the fields of urbanism, culture and community participation. She studied cultural studies at Europa Universität Viadrina and religion and culture at Humboldt Universität Berlin. Her work and research is interdisciplinary and aims to combine theory with practice.

Larissa is one of the founders of Bucht der Träumer*, a music and culture festival in Brandenburg, and is involved in lobbying efforts for clubs and festivals in Berlin and Brandenburg and for free and accessible urban spaces.

Besides her work in the cultural sector she founded Karma Kultur e.V., a grassroots organisation that works together with the local community to run a community garden and various neighbourhood events and initiatives.
