How an object travels with you throughout your life: The shellac record player. First it was a toy, then part of my first video stage painting at Theater Basel, then part of a performance at the first Performanceindex in Basel and later it became an analogue DJ set.
In conversation with Verena Kaspar, the artist Nives Widauer talks about the fragility not only of shellac sound carriers and will also let one or the other melody from discussed equipment resound. An evening at the intersection of analogue and digital.
