With a program ranging from theater, dance, puppetry, and musical theater to performance, the DSCHUNGEL WIEN reflects on current developments in society. It offers premieres by Viennese ensembles, guest productions by major regional theaters, a changing focus on different countries, selected international performances, not to mention festivals, workshops, seminars, ateliers, installations, and talks. With their visions, ideas, and images, artists from over 20 countries open up new spaces and connect with the young and young at heart across a broad range of disciplines.

At the same time, the DSCHUNGEL WIEN helps to communicate the perspectives, lived realities, and interests of children and young people. Children, teenagers, and young adults aged 7 to 26 who are interested in theater and dance can take the stage, get involved in any number of projects, and perform! Guided by experienced directors and choreographers, at adventure nights, workshops, open stages, poetry slams, or one of the Theaterwild workshops, children and young people have the chance to throw themselves into dance, text, play, and performance and discover their own personal approach to the performing arts in all their endless variety.
