The exhibition „Souvenir" explores the relationship between memory, nostalgia, and modernity, focusing on how history and urban myths are commodified, distorted, and reshaped in real time. Masha reflects on the fusion of contemporary urban spaces with historical symbols, creating a distinctive visual language that borrows and reinterprets imagery from contemporary comics and pop culture. The artist contrasts the nostalgic charm of comics and kitsch with the harsh realities of urban life. Nostalgia serves as a central theme, transforming history into both private and collective mythology. Through this contrast, the project questions how people navigate evolving urban spaces and engage with social segregation.
