To mark the 20th anniversary of the MuseumsQuartier, the light installation “re:flexion” by Lumine Projections will transform the MQ Main Courtyard as night falls. The walls of the Leopold Museum, the Halle E+G, mumok, and the main MQ façade will morph into new objects through the projections, reflecting the site’s surroundings. Light reflections and light pulses come together with rhythmic sounds to create unique symphonies. The 360° show immerses visitors in a world of light and sound. During the show, the buildings use a light bridge to transmit (laser) pulses to other buildings, which react reflexively, allowing an overall image to develop. The reciprocal interplay of the light pulses frequently brings the buildings together in new networks.
Recurring and even opposing reactions between light and sound are combined during the show. The result is a symphony created from the interplay between light and sound.
Please note that the current Covid-19 rules apply
