MQ Pride Night returns to MuseumsQuartier with a powerful celebration of queer performance, music and resistance. Under the motto Stand Up!, this year’s edition brings together artists who confront, disrupt and reclaim space through unapologetic expression.

The evening starts out in glamour and style with La Terre’, bringing their explosive Central American energy and channeling the power of opera for resistance, followed by rapper Schwesta Ebra’s razor-sharp lyrics, biting humor, and unapologetic truth-telling.  The evening starts to heat up with Madam Léa and DaDa combining fashion, dance and drag in a dazzling duo performance of charisma, style and precision. The energy continues with When Drama Knocks the Door – a special, collaborative performance by Helena Araújo, and two MQ Pride Night regulars, Mzamo Nondlwana and Pêdra Costa, that blurs the lines between performance, ritual and resistance into a shared act of solidarity.

The night culminates in a DJ-set by মm., an artist whose sound collages fuse experimental club, diasporic beats and political storytelling to transform the dancefloor into a space of celebration, resistance and radical belonging.

The night is curated and hosted by Daniel Hill and co-hosted with Jupiter Rhae Braun. This year’s MQ Pride Night: Stand Up! is an invitation to celebrate queerness in all its defiant, joyful and fierce expressions.
