Open Piano
A grand piano will be placed in the MQ Main Courtyard, freely available for anyone to play. Donations will be collected on behalf of the Vienna-based social music institute, “DoReMi”. “DoReMi” offers affordable music lessons for all levels of society, using a “pay what you can” model. At 19:45, the institute's recently founded choir “ChoReMi” will perform some songs in different languages. Music does not distinguish between a person's religion or origin. Music unites.
This project is organised by “Open Piano for Refugees”, an association for the promotion of public encounter, integration & charity.
