The series "LO AND BEHOLD" assembles experimental sounds as well as performative and visual art practices, seeking sensory listening experiences in the theatre space.

The experimental music ensemble TLF Trio de- and re-constructs traditional chamber music through the use of composition, improvisation, sampling and electronic beats. Their music channels minimalism, modes of free jazz, late Renaissance and early Baroque music and references pop and house. Like prancing figures or movements in space, the sound of the instruments gains materiality. At times solemn, at times playful, the interplay creates music that is sculptural rather than narrative.

Based on her recent album (released via Dischi Fantom, Milan), Hanne Lippard presents "Talk Shop", a performance sculpting a fascinating bridge between radically experimental sound practice, conceptual art and sound poetry. In doing so, she taps into an almost Dada sensibility, delivering a suite of poems and texts in which individual words and sentences are looped and repeated, creating a sensory experience that mirrors the efficiency and stress found in both our private and public lives.

The contribution by the Plot Toy-associated project SALARY borrows techniques from theatre, the fine arts and music: a setting in which drum solos, warped samples and moving images can emerge.
