A self reflection on cultural identity

Let’s talk about Dis-Othering is a series of talks taking place in Graz, Linz, Vienna and St. Pölten within the Creative Europe collaborative project Dis-Othering - Beyond Afropolitan and other Labels
Artists, curators and representatives of cultural institutions will revolve around the topic of cultural identity and contemporary processes of “Othering” in European cultural institutions.

Let’s talk about Dis-Othering #3 will be organized in cooperation with Kunsthalle Wien.

Panel: (amongst others) Vanessa Joan Müller (Head of Dramaturgy, Kunsthalle Wien), Elisabeth Tambwe (Performance Artist), Christophe Slagmuylder (Director, Wiener Festwochen), Suzanna Futterknecht (Exhibition Management, MAK).
Moderator: Adia Trischler (Creative Director and Moderator, Vienna Now)

This initiative is part of Dis-Othering Beyond Afropolitan & other labels a Creative Europe collaborative project on the necessary deconstruction of ‘othering’ practices in European cultural institutions.
The project consists of an exhibition, symposia, a festival, talks and performances, a residency program, mapping research, and a website.
