"Silence of the Many" is created by combining all the different sounds, cumulating indistinguishably as a murmur, a roar, a ripple, a patter, it is white noise. No melody, sounds not filtered, not divided, not defined: Many! Everything, everything is possible, still chaos. Can you hear the silence? The centrifugal force has hurled you out of the center. Concrete walls defend, and a second circle, a third, where there was water.

Alfred Lenz lives and works in Vienna and Studenzen/Styria. He studied Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna from 2007 to 2013 and Generative Art at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2012. His field of activity lies in the sculptural, auditory and/or time-based area.
