"The world of Yasmeen Lari invites us to shift the axes of our worlds to other bodies of knowledge, literacies and imaginations. A much-desired discourse for our time" — Sumayya Vally (Counterspace) on the book Yasmeen Lari: Architecture for the Future.

The book that accompanies the exhibition "Yasmeen Lari. Architecture for the Future" provides an overview of Lari’s extraordinary practice, from her modernist beginnings in the 1960s to the current humanitarian architecture based on decolonisation and decarbonising. Nine chapters of previously unpublished photographs and plans, as well as 11 essays by authors from South Asia, Europe, Brazil and the USA, show Lari’s life’s work in a context of architectural issues and the future. At the international book launch, the editors hold a discussion with Yasmeen Lari, Anne Karpf and Chris Moffat as well as Victoria Hindley of the MIT Press.
