Nuray Demir: böse blicke_n

Taking her transdisciplinary artistic-curatorial practice as a starting point, Nuray Demir examines the black boxes of "white" institutions in her lecture performance "böse blicke_n". She takes a close look at orientalist projections and other racist images, deconstructing them in the process. Demir holds up a mirror to "white" dominance in art and cultural institutions.

The lecture performance will be followed by a talk with the artist, activist and curator Asma Aiad.
