Sigrid Horn sings in a dialect that is difficult to place, lying somewhere between Mostviertel and Vienna. She moves both spatially and artistically between countryside and city, absorbing elements from both into her music. Winner of the 2019 FM4 Protest Songs Contest, she explores themes that are complex, personal and political and offers potential for identification outside the conventional narrative.
