Playfulness is one of the driving forces to approach and interact with digital worlds. Experimenting full of relish opens up new points of view - as well as new solutions. Ironically a playful competition can serve as ideal means to empathize with somebody else´s mind. Reason enough to indulge in eSeL\'s passion for parlor games as a form of \"intelligent entertainment\", to invite to a common exchange and to present artist\'s thoughts and models concering „games\".

With enthusiastic involvment of his new neighbourhood in the Electric Avenue, we invite you for a collective, \"analogue\" gaming night in quartier21´s Electric Avenue - and therewith to the first monthly Friday´s Jour-Fixe in and around the eSeL REZEPTION.

Broken Rulesand Josef Wiesner hold a special \"zamspielen\" for this occasion. This time with a selection of digital Indie games providing a strong social component. The artists\' group monochrom invites to a classical pen&paper role playig experience. q/uintessenz presents games for Linux computers, the SUBOTRON shop brings the good, old joystick back to mind. The eSeL REZEPTION introduces the artist Richard Reisenberger and his \"wooden games\" that do not focus on winning. Raum D / quartier21 opens its gates for your active BYOB (\"Bring your own Boardgames\").
