The aim of the project is to transform sustainability into an art form by creating an experimental journal using biotextiles as both the medium and the message. Through daily or weekly experimentation, she will create small biotextile samples, each reflecting themes such as biodiversity, climate change, and waste reduction. These samples will form the "pages" of a physical or digital journal, documenting the materials’ evolution and their potential applications, showcasing the entire process of how they came to be. The potential outcome will include a completed biotextile journal as a work of art, inspiring viewers to see textiles as more than just functional objects and highlighting the creative process and materials behind each piece. The aim is to share knowledge about biotextile creation and encourage reflection on sustainable practices. The project seeks to connect art and sustainability, sparking dialogue about eco-conscious creativity and the interconnectedness of humans and nature.
