In the fin de siècle, Vienna was a breeding ground for an unprecedentedly fertile intellectual life in the arts and sciences. The guided tour series, which takes place every first and third Friday of the month, focuses on special topics that reflect the achievements and special features of this era. The female artists of Viennese Modernism such as Tina Blau, Broncia Koller-Pinell and the Flöge sisters became muses themselves and "broke the mould" - with a new view of femininity, with the discovery of the Prater as the epitome of a new understanding of nature and with the opening of salons and schools, which became decisive places of artistic exchange in Vienna around 1900.
