Salome
CHILDREN & FAMILY, DANCE/PERFORMANCE/MUSIC
"All my worries in a burning pile. Everything burns and I begin to smile."
This is the story of a 16-, maybe 17-year-old girl who comes on stage and says she can't stand it at home anymore because her stepfather stares at her all the time. We enter at a point in Salome's life that is a turning point. It is the moment when she begins - according to her age - to think for herself, to rebel against her parents, to grow up. Since Salome grew up in this family without moral values, it is obvious that she now confronts her parents in an equally immoral way.
The theater group "Eye Theater of the Future" consists of young artists under the direction of the young director Sebastian Kranner and presents Oscar Wilde's play from the perspective of the young title character in a claustrophobic setting. Overcoming trauma without taboo.
