The Az W sees itself as a change maker, and with its new exhibition collection space has been created where burning issues are discussed by joining the dots between objects in the collection. Now available in book form, too.

The book on the new permanent collection takes a multi-perspectival and transnational look at 150 years of Austrian architectural history. In conversation with renowned critics, architects and museologists, we discuss different approaches to making history, the present and the future visible. Together we question the significance of museum collections and their relation to current issues, such as the climate crisis, distributive justice, social cohesion, identity and memory.
