Pleasant Land - Play

Three facilitators guide us through a game of life: Let's take a closer look at our identity. Let's make sure we really fit into the prefabricated pigeonholes that are assigned to us! This game is about our perceptions, our realities, our struggles. The past shapes us, but does it also determine who we become? Which identities do we choose ourselves and which are given to us?

"Pleasant Land" was inspired by working with teenagers in Derby, particularly at Bemrose School. The stories are about how we perceive ourselves and how others see us. Identities we love, hide, share, shape, dismantle, excavate or cremate. An unusual play with live music, a magazine quiz and a big dose of hope.
