Inspired by Ernst Jandl's poem, we get to know Otto and his pug and observe them in their normal yet absurd everyday lives. They argue and make up, look out for each other and get on each other's nerves. There is a lot of fighting, jumping, music and dancing.
But what does the pug want? And what does Otto want? And what do they do when they don't get along?

A musician and a performer bring the relationship between humans and animals to the stage. Following the rhythm of the poem, they use music, humour and poetry to tell the story of two people who can't and don't want to live with or without each other. They tell of communication problems, the need for independence and the longing not to be alone.
