Fabian Wakolbinger, born in 1992, studied sociology and works as an adult representative. In 2020 he published his first short stories and received the Iris Fischlmayer Prize 2020. "Kaiser der Obdachlosen" (Milena) is his novel debut, from which he will read during the O-Töne.
Milena Michiko Flašar, born in 1980, studied German and Romance languages and literature. She is the daughter of a Japanese mother and an Austrian father. Her third novel "Ich nannte ihn Krawatte" (2012) sold more than 100,000 copies and made her instantly famous, the follow-up "Herr Kato spielt Familie" (2018) also won several awards and was translated into numerous languages. Milena Michiko Flašar was represented in the O-Töne programme with both books; this year she will read from her current fifth novel "Oben Erde, unten Himmel" (Wagenbach).
