Highlights and anecdotes from 20 years of DSCHUNGEL WIEN to join in and play along. 

The DSCHUNGEL WIEN was opened two decades ago. With its extraordinary productions, it has thrilled generations of young people and families in Vienna and quickly gained international attention. To mark its 20th anniversary, we are presenting current positions in the performing arts for young audiences and celebrating the achievements and successes of the last 20 years.

To this end, the MUSÉE SENTIMENTAL DE DSCHUNGEL WIEN is being created: artists and partners have been asked to donate an object to the theatre that tells of their very personal relationship with the DSCHUNGEL WIEN.

The museum presents the highlights and anecdotes of recent years as love stories. These include love-hate relationships, break-ups, farewells, missteps, failures and new beginnings. Under the motto ‘A love story’, the exhibition tells the story of the theatre and invites children, families and school classes to join in and continue the play.
