Savoir-vivre or dolce vita? Godard or Fellini? French House or French Kiss? At home in Europe, tourists in a dream between savoir-vivre, romance and escapism. TARASCA believes that life is too short for such profound questions. As long as you do what you love.
In 2021, the two musicians Maxím Eczyk and Marjan Metschina-Streisand founded TARASCA in a fit of wanderlust. They dreamed of the Côte d'Azur and sweaty dance floors and drew inspiration from trips to Trieste and Andalusia. The urge to create danceable music and their shared love of French house, disco and new wave resulted in their own style, which Tarasca themselves call Pleasure Pop or Disco Chanson. Their EP "Mystery Blade" was finally released in 2023.
