MQ Hofmusik: Sibylle Kefer

It is tempting to call the album hoid, released in March this year, Sibylle Kefer's "opus magnum". This collection of 13 songs is an impressive, coherent and at the same time diverse artistic statement by the musician who lives and works in Vienna. The rich facets of Kefer's approach to music, the qualities and the whole spectrum of what she expresses as a composer, lyricist and instrumentalist is what makes her songs stand out.
Sibylle Kefer, herself an integral part of Ernst Molden & das Frauenorchester, formed her own trio while working on hoid. Together with electric bassist Sarah Brait and drummer Chris Pruckner, she will bring her songs to concert stages in the future and also to the MQ Summer Stage this summer.
