no:no makes music for rainy days and melancholy train journeys: gentle, moody, honest and close. She sings about letting go and being, about growing and becoming and wants truth instead of perfection. It is about feeling the big and small feelings and about allowing and accepting everything that is there. This is why no:no describes the songs on her self-produced debut EP ‘body memories’ as a ‘collection of feelings’.
With electronic elements, vocoder and vocal effects and supported by her live band, the music is powerful and haunting, each song is a deep immersion into the emotional world of the lyrics. This creates a special and intimate atmosphere that invites the listener to perhaps encounter themselves a little while listening.
