lil pando is the new solo project by Viennese multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Julian Berann. "Pando" means to stretch out and that is exactly what lil pando is. A sound that wants to stretch out and live out, a melting pot of RnB, modern jazz and Afro/Latin pop influences. lil pando wants to open up to the world and celebrate its own inner versatility in songs about love, fears, trauma and hope. The debut album is currently in the works.

In recent years, Julian has worked with a variety of international artists. He has worked as a drummer on tours in Japan, USA, Canada and Europe with artists such as Alice Phoebe Lou and James Hersey. Over time, Julian's focus has shifted more and more towards production and composition, starting with the founding of the duo Gazelle & the Bear together with Ines Kolleritsch.

Since then, Julian has been working increasingly as a producer and on the realisation of his solo project, lil pando. A project in which he slips into a wide variety of musical roles, from drums, keys, vocals and bass to clarinet.
