Vienna meets Düsseldorf, learned meets made, skillful is intentional, and what doesn't work is meant to be.

Peter Hein, charismatic voice and well-known frontman of the legendary rock band Fehlfarben, meets the masterful pianist Michael Klaar, whose classical skills will delight even the most discerning music lovers. Together they form the extraordinary duo Autoquarett.
Peter Hein from Derendorf and Michael Klaar from Mauer both ended up in Vienna, where higher powers brought them together to rehearse and conquer the city's stages.
Piano and voice merge into a repertoire without boundaries or inhibitions: From German chansons (Barbara, Boris Vian, Jean Claude Pascal, Hildegard Knef, Erich Kästner, Mascha Kaleko) to the creative original works of Fehlfarben, Family 5 and Mittagspause to powerful rock (Procol Harum, Nick Lowe, Patti Smith, Ramones).

Peter Hein was born in Düsseldorf and has lived in Vienna since 2005. He is a musician and one of the pioneers of punk in Germany. He initially joined the band Charley's Girls as a singer and lyricist. Most of the members of Charley's Girls later joined the band Mittagspause. In 1979, Hein co-founded the band Fehlfarben. Two years later, he parted ways with Fehlfarben, but repeatedly worked with the group on joint music projects. Peter Hein then founded the band Family 5 with Xao Seffcheque. In 2007, Hein's first book "Geht so. Wegbeschreibungen".

The conductor and pianist Michael Klaar lives in Vienna. He began collecting art at the age of 13 (1986). Initially, Klaar concentrated on the works of internationally renowned minimalist conceptual artists such as Donald Judd, Sol LeWitt and McCarthy. In the 1990s, he expanded the spectrum of his collection to include Austrian artists. Today, the young collector is interested in a wide range of international contemporary art.
