A group of meerkats must first come together and agree on their status and positions. Then everything takes its usual course. They accept the tasks without questioning them, until an irritation creeps in: there are meerkats who suddenly claim that they are in the water business and not in the earth business like everyone else. And then a rumour about managers emerges that only half the group knows about. Everyone agrees that action must be taken. Immediately. Efficiently. Consistently. But can anyone be excluded for this? Should everyone set new goals? Do we need a leader?

"Meerkat" shows the microcosm of our society with its hierarchies and dynamics. Who sits next to whom at school? Who likes what? Today you're "in" and tomorrow you're "super embarrassing". Do I want to stand out and risk making myself unpopular, or is it enough for me to be a follower, but safe? Are you a meerkat or not?
