Do you have any polar bear in you?
Have you ever been invited to dine on board a ghost ship? Why isn’t there a coastline where land should be? And why is there a blind passenger on board? Hannah and Arik are sailing across the sea. Their journey has no destination and they set course for the ocean. A new life in their sights—what they leave behind remains uncertain. Their future will take place “on the sea”. Or wherever it might happen to take them. Then suddenly…
With its poetic approach, this piece of puppet theater tells of getting lost and finding yourself again, of friendship, adventure, and secret dreams. This imaginary nautical world from werk89 has been developed in cooperation with the Austrian artist Scarlett Köfner, the Slovenian puppet maker Primož Mihevc, and the Schwandorf Puppet Theater from Germany.
