Even before the Corona virus pandemic everyday reality could change overnight, and the demands placed on one's own four walls along with it. How can units be built that can be used freely while remaining flexible? The event presents inspiration from France and Austria, with Sophie Delhay and PPAG.

With her “socially committed architecture”, Sophie Delhay has dedicated herself exclusively to social housing for 10 years, and demonstrates how forward-looking homes can be created in this strictly regulated and standardised sector. Open-plan spaces, non-hierarchical floor plans and expandable units can adapt to meet the occupants’ needs. The projects by the Viennese office of the PPAGS also include spaces for a diverse constellation of uses, which are based on their research into "elastic homes".

Lectures: Sophie Delhay, Paris; PPAG architects, Vienna
