LYM MORENO & RAINBOY - CALLE ORGÁNICA

In Calle orgánica, visitors and passers-by meet at a place where cheerfully colourful, floral paper sculptures by Lym Moreno meet organic electronic house sounds by DJ RainBoy. The sculptures are abstract and colorful representations of rainforest plants. RainBoy will produce live music in a 160-minute set inspired by organic house electronics, featuring sounds of nature, rainforest animals and pre-Hispanic instruments. In this setting, which is based on the jungle, there is an inevitable desire to celebrate, to move, to immerse yourself in this happy world, to make unknown plants bloom and maybe to dance.

Lym Moreno (VEN) and RainBoy (MX) not only share their Latin American roots, but also a keen interest in creating work that inspires celebration, love, sharing and faith in life. Both bring the rich influences of their cultures such as rhythmic melodies and explosive colors to their work. "Calle Orgánica" was born from an interest in a collaboration that encompasses both the fusion of artistic disciplines and experimentation with formats and contexts that allow direct interaction with people.

KUNSTZELLE goes MuseumsQuartier

The KUNSTZELLE is moving to the forecourt of the MuseumsQuartier for a year. As a former phone booth, its strength lies in publicity and communication. At its new location in front of the main entrance to the MQ, KUNSTZELLE will be showing three installations this year. The annual program is supplemented by a number of shorter interventions. The exhibitions are followed by "After Shows", short interventions from the fields of performing arts, participatory intervention, sound and visual arts. Its informal atmosphere makes the audience part of the after show. The square revives and opens up.
