Karolina Cicha is a composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. She plays the piano, accordion and harpsichord, sings in Polish, Yiddish, Belarusian and Esperanto and effectively combines stage singing with raw rock, jazz and traditional sounds. She is the winner of the Grand Prix and the Audience Award at the "Nowa Tradycja" folk festival organised by Polish Radio. Together with multi-percussionist Patrycja Betley, she has created a duo project that expresses her passion for the harmony of different shades of the human voice and percussion.
The Polish Your Summer series consists of three concerts by Polish musicians organised by the MQ in cooperation with the Polish Institute Vienna and Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
