ImPulsTanz: Davi Pontes & Wallace Ferreira - Repertório N.2

Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira are standing naked in front of the audience and propose an alternative to the structural and political violence that seems to have be­come a persistent presence in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro: dance. In this impressive performance, the second part of their joint Repertório trilogy, dance becomes a self-defense practice and a new way of thinking that deliberately rids itself of the prevailing order and categorisation as well as the accompanying stigmatisation of the body and of being.
