All the ingredients for great entertainment are there: a little drama, a dash of irony, plenty of songs, some art. But there is something else to this performance, and the solo figure, PRICE, a fictional character created by Mathias Ringgenberg, hints at this in all its depth. It’s a basic tone that has shaped a generation who grew up with mass culture, neoliberalism and the omnipresence of the Internet – the shifting bass of lost orientation and existential dread. You can feel it, the disillusionment, unease and loneliness of the millennials.
