They are small, but they are numerous.

There are almost a million different species. They come in a wide variety of shapes and colours. Many of them live hidden - underground. Under the bark of trees, under stones and under our feet. They creep, dig and crawl. They are super-strong, super-fast and super-intelligent. Insects - the smallest and most diverse class that inhabits our planet.

We explore their cohesion and co-operation. We transform ourselves into ants that live in huge colonies, dance like bees, scurry like earthworms and imitate the shield formations of fire bugs.

How can you make yourself heard and how many little ones do you need to be big? What does it mean to be part of a group and how does it feel when you don't belong? Who am I in the group and who am I without it? And what happens when an ant walks backwards?
