Benoît Piéron's artistic practice is informed by his lifelong experience of illness and a childhood spent mostly in hospital. Drawing parallels between skin and fabric, between medical stitches and sutures, Piéron creates artistic objects from individual fates and wrests the sick body from the hands of medicine.
