The exhibition will be open for the joint opening evening of the MQ Schauräume on Wednesday, 05.06.2024, 18h. The opening with a reading by the artist will take place on Tuesday, 11.06.2024, 18h.
In 2024, eSeL REZEPTION invites seven illustrators and artists to visually comment on 26 vocabulary words (from A-Z) from the art world using their creative means.
From ‘altersbeständig’ to ‘zögern’, a linguistically, graphically and materially sharpened ‘alphabetical edition for fine art’ by .aufzeichnensysteme reflects art, human activity, but also their own artistic materials and strategies.
As author and draughtswoman of the ‘.aufzeichnensysteme’, artist Hanne Römer uses ink, pen, small paper bags and ‘peakfein’ selected found objects to design the two display windows of the eSeL REZEPTION in the MQ Schauräumen, which enter into a humorous dialogue with 26 selected photos and specifically ‘falsified lexicon entries’ from eSeL.
Hanne Römer works in & lives from her poetic artwork .aufzeichnensysteme, a transdisciplinary interface linking art & literature.
