WHO OWNS THE STAGE?

At the Voting Ball, two strong forms of artistic expression meet: poetry slam and voguing.

Stage 1 will be a hybrid space where we will reveal the desires and demands of young artists and visitors through poetry and dance. This evening is all about spoken word, voguing and the possibility to express your own positions, wishes and dreams via open mic. With the Voting Ball we want to promote representation, strengthen counter-speech and the right of young people to have their say and give space to those whose voices are not heard. Together on stage we ask: What do you want to see? Who owns the stage?

Everyone who wants to come has the opportunity to cast their vote during the ball and thus have an active say in what the stage of the future should look like.
