Curator guided tour: Avant-Garde and Liberation

On Thursday, 20.06., curator Christian Kravagna will give a guided tour of the exhibition at 18.15h.

The exhibition Avant-Garde and Liberation sheds light on the significance of global modernism for contemporary art. It sheds light on the political circumstances that prompted contemporary artists to draw on those non-European avant-gardes that emerged between the 1920s and 1970s in opposition to the prevailing Western modernism.
