CIVITAS CUNT
CHILDREN & FAMILY, DANCE/PERFORMANCE/MUSIC

Performance: CIVITAS CUNT
15. to 19.03., for all young people aged 14 and over
Queuing for the toilet, the average temperature in the office being too low or the wrong dosage of medication. Our world is not made for women.
Come with us to our city: CIVITAS CUNT is a feminist urban utopia on a scale of 1:50.
One of its patrons is the inventor of the menstrual belt, Mary B. Kenner. Her story is not only about racism, but also about a false meritocracy that repeatedly claims that gender plays no role in advancement. Girlboss Zaza uses motherhood to explain the phenomenon of gentrification, but also shows how friendship can function as a life model in (urban) life. Nail designer Quin Ling draws attention to the poor state of occupational health and safety and labor law in her profession - also because nail design is a profession that is often practiced by women. In the documentary part, Viennese women have their say. They playfully shed light on current problems in their everyday lives and the gender data gap. A data gap that shows that women are not considered separately in urban planning, in pharmaceutical studies or with their care work in the gross domestic product.
As part of the SLUP Festival. In German.
