CHILDREN & FAMILY, DANCE/PERFORMANCE/MUSIC

Sat 13. to Tue 16.04.

Ball, tree and pigeon: three words fill everyday life for weeks, and then it gradually starts to rain words.

Words of the city. Excavator, car, dog, crane, underground railway, penguin, house, umbrella, Danube, coffee, cocoa, avocado. Cow and tractor are holiday words. Sea anyway.

What's it like growing up in the city? I like taking taxis and the underground, I want to ring other people's doorbells and go through every door, I want to get on every moped and say hello to the people I choose. It's often loud in the city, I prefer to be loud myself and sometimes I'm very quiet and watch the ducks.

The songs, stories and poems in this performance come from the vocabulary of children between the ages of one and a half and three. There is clapping, snapping, dancing, singing and storytelling. During the performance, the toddlers are allowed to move freely between the performers and discover space, dance, song, rhythm and language as they please.
