Artist Judith Fegerl has created the solar sculpture converter for the MuseumsQuartier courtyard, which converts sunlight into electricity during the day and emits intense violet light at night. On the occasion of this sculpture project, she talks to MQ chief curator Verena Kaspar-Eisert about her many years of artistic engagement with energy and its visualisation, about her central installations and projects of recent years and about her penchant for electronic components, electrolysis and soldering.
