A little girl in the classroom of her new home. She remembers her home. And of the war. We see the changing city through her eyes. The school is closed. Aeroplanes fly over the city, the streets are empty and there is no more food in the shops. But there is also hope. A touching story that shows us the absurdity of war from the perspective of a child. A painful subject that needs to be talked about, especially with children.

The classic puppet animation is interwoven with live video projections and virtual drawings. Simple line drawings are magically brought to life. A completely new technique in puppet theatre that overcomes and softens the boundaries between the individual genres.

A beautifully animated adventure that uses video projections, stop-motion animation and ordinary chalk drawings to tell a story set in a different place, yet very close to home.
