Steve Gander is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Vienna who has released five albums of original compositions ranging from comedic to melancholic.
He began performing more than twenty years ago, first solo and then with various musical colleagues, who became known as Steve Gander & the Dangers of... and remain together to this day.
Gander's deep and raspy voice make him an ideal interpreter of Leonard Cohen and what began as solo concerts for the maestro's birthday has now developed into a nine-piece band playing a wide range of Cohen songs, more or less in the style of Cohen's band on his last world tour.
