The sport motif remains: now the former danceWEBbers turn the stage into a squash court – in Cairo, it was the other way round for want of a different performance venue: a squash court became the stage. They put on red leotards à la Merce Cunningham for this duet and transform the strictly defined space into a “landscape of collapse”. The synchronously moving bodies dance with the space to the multi-layered music of club sounds and original sounds, and from this real beauty emerges as an intensity that possesses an underlying quality of danger.
