In her contribution to The Humane Body project, which acquaints blind and visually impaired people with the concepts of performance and dance, choreographer Vera Tussing from London shares some of her experiences with the audience. How do which types of contact, proximity and distance feel when it comes to dance that happens beyond the visible? It’s like a great conversation among friends. The dancers undertake this performative “journey” together with the audience, which means that they create this piece as an intensive social act over and over again in a new way.
