Tricky Women/Tricky Realities 2022

Finally back in the cinema! And online! From March 9-13, the Tricky Women/Tricky Realities international animation film festival celebrates the radiance, wit and diversity of women's* animation with a hybrid festival edition. Whether techno-feminism, sci-fi fantasies or very personal life stories: Detached from the dogma of depicting reality, the selected films take up social, political and cultural worlds of experience and reinterpret them. The program includes around 160 short films, as well as the premiere of the award-winning feature-length film "The Odyssey". The exhibition in Bildraum 07with a spatial intervention by Marta Pajek allows a deep dive into the surreal parallel world of the exceptional Polish artist.
