Martin Markeli: 4some Candy / light installation

Martin Markeli works in Vienna and Miami. In his artistic practice he combines the impressions from these two worlds and translates them into a playful intertwining of color and light. Markeli's analog light installations create a dialogue between space and light, by activating the object a dematerialization process is triggered, everything material becomes obsolete, it moves into the background and is flooded by the warming play of light. Thus, a novel spatial practice emerges through the interaction between human, structural and artistic bodies.
