One of the current STR questions is how arabesque audio-visual patterns affect the perception of western computer patters.
In the course of their postgraduate scholarship in 1988/89, Elisa Rose & Gary Danner spent eight months in Cairo / Egypt. They have sharpened their view of the West - from the Orient - as well as critically questioning the artistic practices in the West. This more than current debate with the Arab world is now being recharged & deepened in the course of "Gunafa-reloaded".
The exhibition also shows the new edition & runs parallel to the STATION ROSE solo exhibition at instant edition.
