Not only her music but especially her appearance make London-based artist FERAL a much celebrated art character. By wearing a mask, FERAL creates a covert persona, a faceless being: ‘FERAL that encompasses the tribal, the religious and political, rather than the mythical or surreal; concurrently denying any immediate recognition based on race, sexuality, class or gender. 

This harsher aesthetic challenges mainstream concepts of beauty and confronts social conformism, placing the conventional viewer in a state of confusion.
